Stillness and deep stretching. Yin is the opposite to our active Yang classes – Hatha and Vinyasa. Yin focuses on holding poses for up to three to five minutes, these are usually performed in a seated or a reclined position with optional props. Longer holds in poses mean the muscles begin to relax and stretch further, targeting the deeper connective tissues in the body. This practise has a deep meditative element and it is an incredible tool to open our hearts and give clarity to the mind.
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ
You can pre-book your class here.
By pre-booking you guarantee your place (we cap our class size at 15 in order to provide the best possible experience for all yogis) and benefit from a reduced price of £14 (vs £15 walk-in price). You are also agreeing to our terms and conditions of service (available to view here on this website).
Pre-booking requires pre-payment. If you decide to try your luck with a walk-in, you can pay on site by debit or credit card (no cash thanks).
Please be aware that our studio door is locked exactly 2 minutes before a class is due to begin. When it’s closed, it’s closed! Please respect this policy, which is in place to ensure that our yogis have the best possible experience.
Please also note that we have (very) small separate male/female changing areas, but we do not currently provide shower facilities. We strongly recommend arriving in your Yoga kit, ready to get the most from your class.
